New automobile registrations up 15% 2012 year in Latvia

Print version6,561 new automobiles were registered in Latvia in the first six months of 2012, 15 percent more when compared to the first half of 2011, "Nozare.lv" was informed by the Latvian Authorized Automobile Dealers Association (LPAA).

In June, 1,287 new cars were registered in Latvia, which is 20 percent more than in June 2011, when 1,069 new automobiles were registered in the country.
The top car brand sold in Latvia in June was the ''Renault Laguna'' - 81 new registrations, followed by the ''Ford Focus'' - 66 automobiles, ''Volkswagen Tiguan'' - 48, ''Isuzu D-Max'' - 34, and ''Peugeot 3008'' – 34, reported NOZARE.LV/LETA.
