Invest Lithuania had nominated three companies for this category to be assessed by a panel of representatives from business, universities and the public, writes LETA/ELTA.
"We had nominated candidates for the Investor of the Year Award based on the highest return on investment. And it is not only about financial return. We sought to recognize companies that create value for society by addressing its needs and challenges through investments in advanced technologies, innovative solutions, exclusive products and businesses that generate economic value," said Invest Lithuania general manager Milda Darguzaite, thanking all nominees.
With some 90 percent exports going to European, Scandinavian, Russian, the US and Asian markets, Amilina invests regularly in production growth and development, uses state-of-the-art technologies and introduces new machinery. Highly focused on research and development, the company employs 6 R&D staff, including 3 researchers, from a total of 330.
