Estonian Air doubles summer pre-sales

The Estonian Air carrier Estonian Air's ticket pre-sales in Estonia and on foreign markets have increased about twofold within the first quarter of the year, the company said in a statement. At the same time, the number of offered seats increased by 40%.

"Doubling sales shows the increase of passengers' and partners' confidence and trust. Increased flight frequencies and new destinations have helped us to grow our home market and significantly increase our visibility at international market. Encouraged by this, we have increased our sales targets to 850,000 passengers this year," said Enn Lamp, Sales Director of Estonian Air.

 

For the approaching summer season, most of the tickets have been purchased to Paris, Moscow, Kiev and St. Petersburg. The most popular among the new routes are Vienna, Helsinki and Hannover, writes LETA.

 

In addition, people have very well accepted Estonian Air summer destinations such as Nizza and Venice.

 

Estonian Air flies to 24 destinations in Europe, Scandinavia and CIS. The airline has recently increased flight frequencies to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Brussels, Oslo, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kiev. Estonian Air has added new destinations to its flight schedule, such as Helsinki, Riga, Vienna, Hannover, Tbilisi, Trondheim, Joensuu, Jyväskylä and Kajaani.

 

Estonian Air one-way ticket prices start at 39.90 euros if purchased via the Interent. Ticket includes all fees traditional services: one checked in baggage (up to 23 kilograms), one hand baggage (maximum eight kilograms), snacks and soft drinks on longer flights and soft drinks only on flights that last less than one hour.

 

Estonian Air is the National Partner of the 2012 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Finland.
