Lithuanian Zuvintas biosphere reserve receives UNESCO certificate

On Thursday, Zuvintas Biosphere Reserve received the UNESCO certificate.

The reserve is a first Lithuania's reserve included into the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves, reports LETA/ELTA.

The network was established 25 years ago and unites 600 protected areas of over 100 countries.
