Finnair’s subsidiary Flybe Nordic is planning to launch a flight route from Tallinn to Copenhagen before the end of 2012, writes Äripäev.ee/LETA.

Flybe’s manager confirmed the plans in an interview to the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten. He did not, however, specify the exact time for launching the route, only confirming that this is planned for the year 2012.

Currently, the only airline operating the route between Tallinn and Copenhagen is Estonian Air, which flies to the Danish capital three times a day and twice on Saturdays.

Currently Flybe Nordic flies to the Bromma Airport in Stockholm as well as to Tampere, Turku, Vaasa and Oulu. 40% of Flybe Nordic is owned by Finnair while 60% is owned by UK’s regional low-cost airline Flybe Group.
