Finnish enterprises actively move to Estonia because of the confidence towards Estonia, reports LETA/BBN referring to opinion of a tax consultant Ranno Tingas.

According to the Finnish newspaper Kauppelehti, thousands of Finnish firms are in the process of setting up in Estonia.

Janne Juusela, a representative of the law firm Borenius, stated that approximately 16,000 Finnish firms have already set up in Estonia and more are on the way after Finland increased its capital gains tax rate to 32%.

Finnish enterprises mainly move to Estonia, the key reasons are comprehensible culture and language, lower labor costs, lower costs of doing business and Estonia's suitable location as a bridgehead for expansion into elsewhere in Baltics.

A lawyer Sten Luiga from Borenius emphasized that entrepreneurs from Finland highly value introduction of the euro, balanced budget and simple business administration procedures in Estonia.
