Estonians have come up with highly user-friendly and low-cost tool for setting up online stores: a start-up Pipfrog now offers opening an e-shop in just few hours, LETA/Testmarket.eu reports.

The e-store creation platform by Pipfrog is very simple and convenient, and according to CEO Bruno Lill could be used by the very beginners having no knowledge about computers. Pipfrog is exceptional for its popularity both among one-man companies and large enterprises, for example, Fazer, Securitas, Sotka and Asko.

Pipfrog offers full service – besides creating the e-store's visual identity, the company also offers all of the other necessary elements: server hosting, information security, maintenance, different payment solutions etc.

"Our idea is to make e-commerce solutions available to all and to offer service globally," says Lill.

The CEO points out he knows no competitor with such a simple, convenient, cost-effective and sustainable solution since no installation or special programming skills are required.

On-line stores can be set up at Webmedia as well, but there a custom solution could cost hundreds of thousands of kroons.

The global Pipfrog user community numbers thousands; there are about a hundred more active online retailers using the tool. At Pipfrog, paid services include various add-ons and enhancements, such as more sophisticated visual solutions, eBay integration, modules for Liisi or Swedbank payment on deferred terms.

Lill notes that Pipfrog will remain committed to allowing merchants to go into online retail business completely free of charge. "More than netting money, we consider it important that everyone use Pipfrog, tell their friends about it and give us feedback," the head of the undertaking states.
