Lithuanian haulers' revenue to hit record high in 2018

Print versionLithuanian haulage companies expect to post strong growth in revenue for 2018, but note that the market is somewhat more sluggish in the second half of the year than in the first six months, according to the business daily Verslo Zinios reported writes LETA/BNS.

BTL Group CEO Mindaugas Veselis forecasts that the Lithuania-based road haulage group will record revenue growth of more than 30% this year.
Haulers enjoyed a successful first half of the year, but demand for trucking services in EU countries declined in the second half, Veselis said.
Growth in 2019 is unlikely to be as strong as in 2018, he added.
BTL Group includes Baltic Transline, Baltic Transline Rental, Baltic Transline Transport, Vidcargo, Ferry Bookings Lithuania and Ferry Bookings Estonia, and Scotland-based Transline Europe.
