Currently visiting China, Sinkevicius believes Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian businessmen could do it together by creating a pavilion of Baltic goods on one of the largest Chinese e-trade platforms.
"We estimate that over the upcoming years a quarter of all sales in China will be made online, therefore, businesses that want to preserve the fast growth of exports and governments must seriously consider these changes and think about ways to introduce their products online," the minister was quoted as saying in a statement.
According to Sinkevicius, a Baltic pavilion on one of the largest Chinese e-trade platforms, like JD.com or Tmall.com, could be created as early as this year.
The Lithuanian minister plans to propose such an idea during the 16+1 forum of China and Central and Eastern European countries on Thursday.
