Rigas Melnais Balzams will expand exports to US

Print versionThe Latvian alcoholic beverage producer Latvijas Balzams is planning on expanding its exports of Rigas Melnais Balzams to the United States, informs LETA.

The company informs that it began expanding exports of the popular Latvian
alcoholic beverage to the US in November 2017.
The company's first export destination in the US is the state of New York,
but it is also planning promotional activities and the expansion of exports in
2018 to such states as Texas, Florida, Illinois and California.
The company is currently exporting its original Riga Melnais Balzams, as
well as Rigas Melnais Balzams with blackcurrant flavor. Next year, it will also
be exporting to the US its Riga Melnais Balzams with cherry flavor.
In 2016, Latvijas Balzams posted
EUR 75.72 million in turnover and EUR 7.509 million in profit.
