Construction of Marriott hotel in Palanga to start in spring

"The project is highly complicated. The harmonization and design efforts took 18 months. We should complete the construction within 20 months, and the hotel operator hopes to start working for the 2020 season," Kestutis Vedeckis, CEO at Vastint Lithuania, told BNS.
He did not specify the planned investment in the project. According to a report published in early 2016, the project investment was to amount to 20 million euros, in addition to 7-8 million euros already invested by them.
Vastint Lithuania says it has secured a construction permit for a 173-room hotel and a health complex. A tender for the general contractor should be announced shortly.
Inter Ikea of the Netherlands, the operator of Vastint Lithuania, develops Moxy hotels in Europe together with Marriott International.
