Skoda topped the list of new car registrations with 289 units, followed by Toyota with 277 and Volkswagen with 180 units.

In first registrations of both used and new cars Volkswagen was number one with 482 units, Skoda was in second place with 375 and Toyota third with 364 units.

Besides passenger cars, 506 trucks, five buses, 475 trailers, 32 motorcycles, 38 mopeds, three off-road vehicles, 52 tractors, 23 tractor-trailers, 14 units of non-road mobile machinery, 34 small boats and three water scooters were entered into the motor vehicle register last month.

First registrations of both used and new cars in September decreased by 205 units compared with August to 4,092, of which 1,975 were new and 2,117 second-hand, figures from the Estonian Road Administration show.
