Capital Mill planning to build 27-story highrise in Tallinn

BC, Tallinn, 29.09.2017.Print version
The Estonian equity real estate investment firm Capital Mill is planning to build a 27-story highrise on a plot on Maakri Street in the area designated for high-rise buildings in the Tallinn city center, informs LETA/BNS.

"The plan to act exists, preparations are under way, but things are not far enough for us to know the precise shape and volume of the building. Therefore we cannot even forecast the size of the investment at this point," Capital Mill partner Marko Kull told BNS.

Under the detailed plan, the plot at 30 Maakri Street is set aside for a commercial building or a residential building with commercial spaces with up to 27 stories above ground and up to three underground levels.

"In collaboration with architects, we must now draw up a detailed blueprint of the building and its size. The number of stories is indicative, height is expressed in meters in Estonia and how many stories you put in between is up to each developer to decide," Kull said.

Kull added that different owners of the land plots have been unable so far to agree about the precise location and size of the built structure. A more detailed blueprint is expected to be ready by December.
