Lithuania's postal market grows by 6% in Q2

Lithuania's postal and courier services market, as measured by revenue, grew by 5.8% in the second quarter of 2017 to 33.325 million euros, up from 31.507 million euros in the same period last year, figures from the country's Communications Regulatory Authority showed on Thursday, cites LETA/BNS.
Postal service providers' revenue from letter-post items sent and received
rose by 8.5% to 12.897 million euros, and revenue from parcels went up by 4.2%
to 18.226 million euros. Revenue from other postal services increased by 3.7%
to 2.202 million euros.
State-owned Lietuvos Pastas
(Lithuanian Post) held the largest market share, at 37.7%, in terms of
second-quarter revenue, followed by DPD
Lietuva in second place with 19.5%, Venipak
Lietuva in third with 11.1% and DHL
Lietuva in fourth with 10.8%. Other companies held market shares of less
than 5%.
