The Estonian state-owned airline Nordic Aviation Group operating under the Nordica trademark as of this week added a third daily flight on the Tallinn-Warsaw route, reports LETA/BNS.

The new flight from Tallinn to Warsaw will take off at 9 a.m., while the 2:55 p.m. and 6 p.m. flights will operate as before. Late arrivers will be able to reach Tallinn before 11 p.m., the airline told.

CEO of Nordica Jaan Tamm said that Warsaw's central location on the map of Europe makes it a hub airport with great potential for Estonian passengers. "It is especially comfortable to fly from Warsaw to Central and Southern Europe as well as to the Caucasus region."

As of this week, Nordica's flights will also be compatible with the long-distance flights of Nordica's strategic partner LOT Polish Airlines, which fly out of Warsaw. This way, people will be able to fly from Tallinn to New York within a travel time of 13 hours and get to the Japanese capital Tokyo from Tallinn in less than 18 hours. The Estonian airline in cooperation with partners already covers more than 100 destinations across Europe and all over the world.

Toomas Uibo, chief of corporate sales at Nordica, said that Nordica's mission is to build air bridges between Estonia and the rest of the world. "Our growth is thriving and as of this week, there is even more reason to start one's journey with a local business. The Warsaw airport is a very fast and comfortable springboard to the rest of the world," Uibo said.
