Elektromobiliai, the owner of the autoPildyk chain of electric vehicle charging stations, has built new stations in the Curonian Spit resort of Nida and will soon open one in the seaside resort town of Palanga as it moves forward with plans to electrify more Lithuanian cities and towns, LETA/BNS reported according to the business daily Verslo Zinios.
A fast charging station is already operating in Nida, with
two more to be opened in the town shortly. The company is about to launch a
station in Palanga, with another to be opened in mid-summer, and plans to build
one in Kryzkalnis, a town halfway between Klaipeda and Kaunas.
"We are expanding the network in the direction of
Siauliai and, therefore, one more station will be set up between Kryzkalnis and
Siauliai. A charging station at the Saules Miestas mall in Siauliai is opening
this week," Elektromobiliai Nerijus Rakauskas told the paper.
Plans also call for setting up charging stations in
Panevezys, Ukmerge, Kaunas and Alytus.
