Mood of Latvian businessmen has become more optimistic

Print versionOptimism of Latvian businessmen has returned after three years, according to the latest Citadele Index survey.

The index value in the first quarter of this year is 50.5
point, and it has switched the mood to optimistic. Index value in the first
quarter of this year has climbed 4.1 points, which is the steepest improvement
of business sentiment in the past seven years. The index value in the previous
quarter was 46.4 points.
The Citadele Index is based on a survey of 750 company owners and business executives, representing firms of different sizes doing business in different industries. SKDS pollster carries out the survey for Citadele Bank.
