Smartlynx acquires 2 new planes

Print versionThe Latvian charter airline Smartlynx Airlines Ltd, which also flies to Tallinn, acquired two new Airbus A320 airplanes in May, increasing its fleet to 13 planes.

The aircraft were added to the fleet at the beginning of May and were rented for four and a half years.
One of the planes was rented from CIT Aerospace, which belongs to the Avalon Group, and will be rented out under a wet lease agreement to EasyJet until Oct. 28, 2017.
The other plane was rented from Magnetic MRO AS and will be rented out to Smartlynx's Estonian subsidiary Smartlynx Estonia OU until Oct. 1, 2017.
