U.S. relocation company MOVE Guides has acquired the Estonian start-up Teleport that helps people find the best places to live and work, reports LETA/BNS.

"We founded Teleport with the vision of helping free people move, by giving mobile millennials access to modern software tools to smoothly get to wherever they need to be to make the most of their potential," Teleport CEO and co-founder Sten Tamkivi said in the MOVE Guides press release.

According to MOVE Guides CEO and founder Brynne Kennedy, "MOVE Guides and Teleport have a shared vision to democratize global mobility through software and data science."

Teleport's Tallinn office will continue work as usual, becoming one of MOVE Guides' offices alongside San Francisco, London and Hong Kong. Product development will continue at Teleport's two European offices.

Teleport was founded in 2014 by early Skype employees Sten Tamkivi and Silver Keskkula. It is headquartered in Tallinn.
