Lithuanian-owned Small Planet Group nets EUR 14 mln on EUR 182 mln revenue in 2015

Small Planet Group, a Lithuanian-owned company that owns air charter operations in Lithuania, Poland and Germany, last year posted a net profit of 14.103 mln euros, almost a four-fold increase from 3.726 mln euros in 2014, informs LETA/BNS.
Consolidated sales revenue soared by 260% to 182.345 mln
euros, the company said in its 2015 annual report filed with the Center of
Registers.
The 2014 figures do not include the results of a Polish
subsidiary that was incorporated into the group in late 2014.
The group's revenue from passenger services last year soared
almost six-fold to 168.8 mln euros. Jet fuel sale revenue slumped down to 1.4 mln
euros and wet-lease revenue fell by 11% to 9.2 mln euros.
The group's total workforce increased to 431 in late 2015,
from 213 a year ago.
Vytautas Kaikaris
holds a 65.8% stake in Small Planet Group
and Andrius Staniulis owns 28.2% of
shares.
