Small Planet Airlines boosts revenue by 50% in 2015

Lithuanian-owned charter carrier Small Planet Airlines posted 76.757 million euros in revenue for 2015, a rise of 49.7% compared with 2014, informs LETA/BNS.

The company's net profit edged down by 0.5% to 3.708 million euros, according to its 2015 annual report filed with the Center of Registers.

 

Revenue from passenger services doubled in 2015 from 2014 to 59.7 million euros. Jet fuel sale revenue dropped by 24.6% to 8.7 million euros and wet-lease revenue was down by 44.2% to 5.7 million euros.

 

EBITDA rose by 11% to 4.95 million euros. The EBITDA margin went down by 2.2 percentage points to 6.4%.

 

The airline carried 699,000 passengers in 2015, a rise of 27.3% year-on-year.
