The harbor that opened in the sea resort of Vosu on Estonia's North Coast in 2015 has seen a successful first year so far, with 56 of the marina's 45 boat slips booked and 26 being actively used, the regional newspaper Virumaa Teataja said, cites LETA/BNS.

The harbormaster, Andrus Aasmae, told the newspaper that where originally fishing boats were in majority at the harbor, now they are beginning to be outnumbered by leisure boats.

The manger of the MTU Vosu Sadam nonprofit that runs the harbor, Urmas Osila, said that a container pump with a capacity of 3,000 liters of motor fuel and a card payment function will be installed at the port in collaboration with Alexela still this month. At this point, there is a makeshift pump at the harbor that can be used by Vosu boatowners alone.

The harbor was completed last year at a cost of 1.7 million euros. At the beginning of this year a third floating quay was installed, increasing the number of boat slips from 40 to 56.
