Lido already operates eateries at Tallinn's Solaris and Ulemiste shopping centers.

The new restaurant will be opened by Lido owner and board chairman Gunars Kirsons, who intends to inform about the company's operations in Estonia, investment made in the new restaurant and future plans.

The new Lido restaurant in the Estonian capital will be located at Mustamae, a new shopping center, which is opening on the same day as the Lido restaurant.

Lido opened its first restaurant in Tallinn in 2009 and another one in March 2015. Lido plans to launch operations in Germany this spring.

In 2014, the company's turnover grew 17% to EUR 33.16 million, but the company's loss was EUR 888,957, according to Firmas.lv business database.

Lido currently runs nine restaurants in Latvia, and two in Tallinn. The company also operates a food production base, beer brewery, confectionery, and a shop-cafe, Kirsons, in Riga.

The company was founded in 1991. Its share capital is EUR 927,427. Gunars Kirsons, the founder, owner and long-standing head of Lido now is the chairman of the supervisory board.
