Net profit of Klaipedos Nafta soars more than twofold in January-September

Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil), Lithuania’s state-controlled operator of energy terminals, saw its net profit soar more than twofold in the nine months through September 2015, to 13.095 million euros, from 5.221 million euros in the same period last year, informs LETA/BNS.
Sales revenues more than trebled to 78.887 million euros, the company said in a filing to the NASDAQ Vilnius Stock Exchange on Monday.
“Taking into consideration the petroleum product reloading plans that are being implemented, the company’s profit will reach record highs this year…,” Klaipedos Nafta CEO, Mantas Bartuska, said in the release.
The company’s EBITDA soared more than twofold in the nine-month period from a year ago, to 25.352 million euros.
Petroleum product reloadings rose by an annual 22.9% to 4.7 million tons.
The state owns 72.32 percent of shares in Klaipedos Nafta, which is quoted on the Secondary List of the NASDAQ Vilnius Stock Exchange.
