Print versionEstonian law firms Borenius and COBALT (formerly LAWIN) merge, which will create the leading Estonian law office regarding the number of lawyers and the largest chain of law offices in the Baltic States, which will operate under the name COBALT, LETA/Delfi Ärileht reports.

The new office will be headed in Estonia by Sten Luiga, Jaanus Mody and Martin Simovart.
In addition to Estonian law offices, Borenius and COBALT's Latvian and Lithuanian offices will join under the new brand, thereby forming the biggest Baltic States chain with more than 180 lawyers in the Baltic States and Belarus.
According to the partners of the law office, the new company brings together many of the top players, offers young lawyers more diverse development opportunities, and increases the visibility of the company in different markets.
