Tallink records 7% increase in passenger numbers in August

Print versionEstonia's biggest passenger shipping company AS Tallink Grupp informed the Tallinn stock exchange that in August 2015, it transported 936,247 passengers, which is 7% increase compared to August 2014, reports LETA.

The number of cargo units was slightly higher with 24,941 units and the number of passenger vehicles increased over 1% to 121,664 in same comparison.
The number of passengers on the Finland-Sweden route grew by 6% in August as compared to August last year.
On the Estonia-Finland route, the August year-on-year growth was 10.2%; on the Estonia-Sweden route the August increase was 5.1% and on the Latvia-Sweden route, the August fall was 12%.
