Leading Ukrainian business accelerator GrowthUP ready to cooperate with the Baltic start-ups

The representatives GrowthUP come to Riga – the first Ukrainian business accelerator that works with early stage technology start-ups. They will take part in the International Telecommunications Conference Telco Trends, which will be held at the Conference Centre of Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija.

According to PR director of Telco Trends Natalya Vasilyeva, GrowthUP has been working  in the industry since 2005 and it bases on the experience gained in the implementation of several tens of successful projects. The organization works with the earliest stages of projects. The main focus of the acceleration program is helping start-ups focused on the global market, building and development of business, attraction of the first users and checking the main hypotheses. Campuses in Berlin and Silicon Valley were opened for such projects. The Seed Fund of GrowthUP+ was created in the autumn of 2013 along with the accelerator.

According to analyst of GrowthUP Nikolay Sokratov, they are looking for partners in the Baltic States within the following directions:

- Start-ups in the early stages for participation in the acceleration program in Europe and the United States. 

- Representatives of enterprises, namely, innovative divisions and departments who collaborate with start-ups and accelerators: the portfolio of GrowthUP includes projects that may be of interest to them;

 

- Start-up community leaders – GrowthUP has activity in Europe (SVOD, Start-up Crash Test, acceleration program) and the organization is ready to cooperate with local partners;

 

- Representatives of accelerators, incubators and venture capital funds – GrowthUP can exchange with dealflow.

“In addition, we have a venture fund GrowthUP +, we co-invest in projects aimed at the global market and which are at the pre-seed and seed stage of development”, added Nikolay Sokratov.
