Household goods retailer Jysk Linnen'n Furniture (Jysk) plans to invest EUR 2.8 million in the company's business in the Baltic States, Jysk director in Baltics, Dace Zundure, told LETA.

According to Firmas.lv information, Jysk registered the commercial pledge on June 1, 2015.

Zundure says that Jysk will continue to invest in reconstruction and improvement of the company's existing stores, as well as opening of new stores.

"We reconstructed two Jysk stores this year, and are planning on improving several others in the coming future, including one in Tallinn. We will also consider opening new stores in the Baltic States," says Zundure.

As reported, Jysk operated with a turnover of EUR 30 million in 2013, information provided by Firmas.lv indicates.

In 2013, the turnover increased by 7%, as compared to 2012, but the profit amounted EUR 1.6 million, allowing Jysk to compensate the losses it suffered in 2012.
