LMT registers highest number of clients in company's history in 2014

Thus, the number of LMT clients in 2014 increased by 3%, as compared to 2013 when LMT had 1.082 million clients.
"We will continue expanding the 4G network also this year, by increasing the coverage and maintaining high network capacity. By making our services more convenient and accessible to the public, we have introduced various innovations in the market, and our competitors followed suit. Thus, the number of smartphone users and mobile Internet users continues to rise fast," Binde said.
The increasing popularity of smartphones is reflected in LMT sales of electronic devices: in January 2014, 45% of all devices sold to the company's clients were smartphones; in December, this proportion was 58%. In total, 53% of LMT clients use smartphones.
In 2014, LMT sold 112,615 smartphones, which is 10% more than in 2013, when the company sold 102,809 smartphones.
