Meeting of World Lithuanian Youth marked by issuing commemorative post cancellation

Director of Lithuania Post's Sales Division Arunas Venckavicius said that "every day we dispatch thousands of letters and this is a very good way to disseminate information on the Meeting of World Lithuanian Youth and invite all countrymen scattered all over the world to come to the meeting for a couple of days and discuss core issues", informs LETA/ELTA.
The commemorative cancellation features the logo of the World Lithuanian Youth's Meeting and the inscription with the date Pasaulio lietuviu jaunimo susitikimas liepos 12-15 (The Meeting of the World Lithuanian Youth on July 12-15).
It is estimated that more than 20,000 letter-post items sent domestically and abroad will be cancelled with this cancellation.
Participants from Lithuanian regions and other countries will be able to meet with politics, business, culture and science figures in discussions on strategic state and nation issues, look for optimal solutions and ways to achieve them.
The patron of the meeting is Dalia Grybauskaite, the President of the Republic of Lithuania.
