Estonian Minister of Culture Tonis Lukas said that the government has now established that major events may be organized in July and August 2020 with a maximum of 1,000 participants.
"For us, major events include festivals, national sports events and fairs as they have taken place so far. Their organizers will definitely need to re-profile," Lukas said during question time in parliament on Wednesday.
"Culture will definitely be opened up in summer," the minister said, adding that, from July to August, events with up to 1,000 participants outdoors and up to 500 participants indoors will be considered major events.
"We hope that everything will be back in the good old track in September," Lukas added.
