Baltic M&A and Private Equity Forum 2015 to start in Tallinn

BC, Tallinn, 28.10.2015.Print version
On October 29th starts main annual event for M&A and private equity players in the Baltics – the Baltic M&A and Private Equity Forum 2015. The forum takes place in Tallinn, at the historic and newly renovated Tallinn Creative Hub Kultuurikatel on 29 and 30 October, reports BC business development and marketing manager at SORAINEN Katrin Aunpu.

As the keynote speaker we are proud to present Aivaras Abromavičius, Ukraine's Minister of Economic Development & Trade and a former investment banker at East Capital and Hansabank. The Lithuanian-born minister is well placed to shed light on developments in a country whose fate will have immense influence on the Baltics and Europe as a whole.

In addition, this year’s forum will include a special session dedicated to international breakthroughs, with panellists who have been successfully running businesses in Asia, Africa and elsewhere sharing valuable insights into the workings of these remote yet promising markets.

Comments Toomas Prangli, co-managing partner of SORAINEN, “Over the years, the Forum has established itself as the main networking event for the M&A and private equity industry plus market participants interested in the Baltic region and beyond. The Forum offers a great platform for establishing new contacts, sharing experience, finding new business opportunities and spending time with peers. With the cooperation of the European Investment Fund and the Baltic private equity and venture capital associations, we have already last year started a new tradition of the Baltic M&A and private equity deal awards. At the awards gala on the eve of the first day of the event, we will find out who has done the most groundbreaking transactions in the region during the last 12 months.”

The Forum organisers are business media leaders Äripäev (in Estonia), Dienas bizness (in Latvia), Verslo žinios (in Lithuania), and leading international business law firm SORAINEN, in co-operation with the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Associations.
