Holm Bank, an Estonian bank which received its banking license in April of last year, has started providing services in the Latvian and Swedish markets, informs LETA/BNS.

In Latvia, the company offers an installment service, installment card and consumer loans, while in the Swedish market, it is launching a digital credit card solution.

Holm Bank management board chairman Rauno Klettenberg said that the launch of operations in Latvia was a continuation of the transaction that took place last year, by which a majority stake was acquired in the Latvian installment provider SIA Best Lizings. Since October of this year, the company is called Holm Bank Latvia SIA, the bank said.

In fall, Holm also launched services in Sweden, where consumers can download the Holm App and create a digital Mastercard credit card to pay for online purchases. "Initially, we want to get to know Swedish consumers and their habits better," Klettenberg said.

According to Holm Bank's manager, expanding operations to Latvia and Sweden is part of Holm's growth strategy. "Last year, we signed an agreement with the European deposit-taking platform Raisin and started offering term deposits to German and Austrian customers," the management board chair said.

In Estonia and Sweden, Holm Bank AS provides services on the basis of a banking license. In Latvia, Holm Bank Latvia SIA operates as a provider of consumer credit services.

Holm Bank AS is a bank based on Estonian capital. Holm's products include installments, small loans and credit cards on the market under the Liisi brand, as well as business and limit loans and deposits.
