EUR 263.1 mln paid into budget of Tallinn in 4 months

In the first four months of the year 2020, 263.1 million euros of revenue flowed into the budget of the City of Tallinn, which equals 34% of the target for the full year, exclusive of financing activity, informs LETA/BNS.

The four-month tax revenue totaled 177 million euros, making up 33.7% of the amount projected for the full year, it appears from the city's monetary revenue report.


The sum included personal income tax in the amount of 160.5 million euros, which equals 33% of the 12-month target, 12.1 million euros in land tax, making up 47% of the projected amount, and 4.3 million euros in local taxes, representing 34.1% of the target.


Economic activity by institutions of the city produced 28.7 million euros, 32.6% of the sum projected for the full year. 


Other revenue totaled 706,300 euros or 36.9% of the 12-month target. Support from the state and external finance totaled 56.6 million euros, amounting to 38.4% of the budget target.


Investment activity by the city brought in 187,600 euros or 1.7% of the amount set out in the budget.


Payouts totaling 253.3 million euros, 32.5% of the budgeted amount, were made by the city during the first four months of the year. 


Administrative expenses totaled 223.7 million euros, 33% of the budgeted amount. Payouts for investments, at 25.9 million euros, equaled 23.3% of the target. A total of 3.7 million euros was spent on repayments for loans and finance lease.
