Lithuania's national budget revenue EUR 14 mln above target in January

Lithuania's central government and municipalities collected a total of 927.5 mln euros in budget revenue in January, 14 mln euros, or 1.5%, above the projected level, the Finance Ministry information cited LETA/BNS.
The central government's budget revenue came in at 817.3 mln
euros, 0.6% above the target for the period. Tax revenue alone reached 783.4 mln
euros, 1.2% more than planned.
The value-added tax brought 512.9 mln euros into the state's
coffers, 0.7% more than projected.
Excise tax revenue totaled 140.7 mln euros, or 0.7% below
the estimate. Revenue from the corporate income tax, at 6.5 mln euros, exceeded
the target by 18.8%.
The personal income tax generated a total of 196.8 mln euros
in central government and municipal budget revenue, 4% more than planned.
This year's central government budget projects 9.548 bn
euros in annual revenue not including EU funds and 11.53 bn euros
including EU funds.
