Number of corporate taxpayers in Latvia drops 4.2% over year

Print versionAs at January 1, 2019, there were 208,593 corporate taxpayers in Latvia, down 4.2 percent from the same period a year ago, according the State Revenue Service’s statistics writes LETA.

The number of corporate taxpayers decreased by 123 from December 1, 2018.
The Revenue Service said that the highest number of corporate taxpayers was registered in the Latvian capital Riga – 122,532 at the beginning of this year. The smallest number of corporate taxpayers was registered in the area served by the Revenue Service’s customer service center in the Kraslava town in eastern Latvia - 1,030.
As at January 1, 2018, there were 217,772 corporate taxpayers registered in Latvia.
