Tallinn City Council approves of first supplementary budget for 2015

The Tallinn City Council approved on June 11th the first, positive supplementary budget of the Estonian capital city in 2015, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

Deputy Mayor Taavi Aas stressed that the supplementary budget focuses on investments. "I am very pleased that Tallinn continues to be successful and growth in the number of city residents also leads to an increase in the city's revenues. The supplementary budget will allocate more money for investment in many areas, increasing it by a total of 13.6 million euros," said Taavi Aas.

 

The adoption of the supplementary budget increased the city's budget revenue and expenditure volume by 34,514,587 euros, which will result in the Tallinn city budget for the year 2015 having a volume of 563,716,820 euros.
