Estonian state-owned companies pay EUR 162 mln of dividends to the budget

The Estonian government approved on Thursday the amount of dividends to be paid to the state budget by companies in which the state has decision rights, which amounts to EUR 162 million, announced the Ministry of Finance, cites LETA.

As compared to the previous year, the total amount of dividends increased by EUR 9.6 million. The biggest dividend payers are Eesti Energia AS, AS Tallinna Sadam AS and Elering AS.

 

The amount of dividends to be paid by Eesti Energia increases as compared to last year from EUR 93.6 million to EUR 95 million and the amount of dividends to be paid by Tallinna Sadam decreases from EUR 42 million to EUR 31.1 million.

 

Elering pays dividends in the amount of EUR 20 million while last year, the company did not pay dividends.

 

Dividends are paid also by AS Eesti Loto, Lennuliiklusteeninduse AS, AS Eesti Raudtee, AS Eesti Loots, AS Eesti Post, AS Eesti Teed, AS Teede Tehnokeskus, OÜ Keskkonnauuringute Keskus, AS Eesti Vedelkütusevaru Agentuur, AS Andmevara, AS Eesti Metsataim, AS Eesti Kaardikeskus.

 

Dividends will be paid by 14 companies. The state has 32 operating companies, in 30 of which, the state is the sole owner or has decision rights. The companies are in seven ministries' administrative sphere and one state stake is administered by Riigimetsa Majandamise Keskus.
