Lithuanian and Finnish gas utilities agree on joint venture

Print versionLithuanian natural gas firm Lietuvos Dujos (Lithuanian Gas), one third owned by Russia's Gazprom and another one third by German E.ON, adopted a decision to establish a joint venture together with the Finnish natural gas company Gasum Oy to carry out the functions of a natural gas market operator, Lietuvos Dujos said in a statement.

The decision was made on July 4 by the board of directors. The authorized capital of the joint venture will be LTL 2 million (EUR 580,000), informs LETA/ELTA.
During the incorporation of the joint venture, the company will acquire 66% of shares, the price of which is LTL 1.32 million (EUR 383,000).
