Latvijas Gaze to pay EUR 17.5 mln in dividends

Latvijas Gaze natural gas utility will pay out EUR 17.556 mln of its 2019 profit, or EUR 0.44 per share, in dividends, the company's shareholders decided at a meeting, informed LETA.
According to the company's statement to Nasdaq Riga, July 8, 2020 has been set as the Ex-date (the day from which onwards shares are traded without a right to dividend), July 9, 2020 as the date of calculation of dividends, and July 10, 2020 as the date of payment of dividends.
The remaining part of the company's 2019 profit, or EUR 2,144,247, will be added to the retained earnings of Latvijas Gaze.
In 2019, Latvijas Gaze concern turned over EUR 314.349 mln and generated EUR 20.19 mln in profit.
Latvijas Gaze is listed on the Nasdaq Riga Secondary List.
The company's largest shareholders are Gazprom (34%), Marguerite Gas II.S.a.r.l. (28,97%), Uniper Ruhrgas International GmbH (18,26%) and Itera Latvija (16%).
