BC, Vilnius, 27.04.2016.Print version
Austria's AMIC Energy Management has taken over the chain of filling stations in Lithuania operated by the Russian oil concern Lukoil, informs LETA/BNS.

According to data provided by the Center of Registers, the Austria-registered AMIC Energy Management became shareholder of Lukoil Baltija, which operates the chain in Lithuania, on April 22. Until then, Lukoil Baltija's shares belonged to Lukoil Europe Holding registered in the Netherlands.

Russia's oil group Lukoil announced early in February that it had signed a deal to sell around 230 filling stations in Lithuania, Latvia and Poland to Austria-registered AMIC Energy Management. As part of the deal, the fuel retail chains in Lithuania and Latvia will be operated by companies related to Ivan Paleichik, CEO of Lukoil Baltija.

50% of AMIC Energy Management is owned by lawyer Johannes Klezl-Norberg, while 40% and 10% are held by consultant Manfred Kunz and Heinz Sernetz.
