BC, Riga, 29.05.2015.Print version
Latvijas Gaze CEO Adrians Davis has decided to leave the company, as confirmed by Juris Savickis, CEO of Itera Latvija – a company that owns shares in Latvijas Gaze, informs LETA.

Davis' labor contract ends in August 2015. Latvijas Gaze could elect a new CEO during a shareholder meeting on July 3.

Savickis believes that the company could also look for a new CEO internationally, with preference to local experts.

As reported, Latvijas Gaze posted EUR 30.07 million in profit last year, which is 1.9% more than in 2013, according to the company's unaudited financial report submitted to "Nasdaq Riga" stock exchange.

Last year, consumers were supplied with 1.29 billion cubic meters of natural gas. In comparison with 2013, natural gas sales fell by 10.9%.

Germany's E.ON Ruhrgas International Gmbh owns 47.2% of Latvijas Gaze shares, Russia's Gazprom has 34%, and Itera Latvija 16%.
