Lithuanian company got under fire in Artemivsk, Ukraine

Despite agreements reached in Minsk, on February 13th afternoon the city of Artemivsk in the Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine was fired by Russian-backed militants. The heating system of Artemivsk is served by the company Artemivsk Energy, part of the Lithuanian holding E Energija, reports LETA/ELTA.

Vaidas Povilenas, head of Artemivsk Energy, says that reports on the internet show that fire from the rocket launchers Grad reached the company's buildings.

 

"At the moment, our biggest concern is to get in touch with our employees. There are more than 300 of them working during the heating season. We can see ambulances in the city, there are many wounded. There have been reports about one killed child during the attack," Povilenas said.
