During the meeting, further possible cooperation in the fields of youth affairs and tourism was discussed, as well as the possibilities to organize more projects for young people were considered, Kaunas City Municipality said.

The delegation from Kaunas visited Cava de' Tirreni several weeks ago. During the meeting with Mayor of Cava de' Tirreni Marco Galdi a great deal of attention was paid to the possibility to start the direct flights between Kaunas and Salerno, informs LETA/ELTA.

According Galdi this could help strengthen the partnership between cities and establish important relations in the field of business.

During the visit in Cava de' Tirreni, Kaunas delegation also introduced the publication Kaunas in 3 Days. 3 Itineraries which is also published in the Italian language.
