Russian veterinary authority restores Estonian food industry firms' export permits

Rosselkhoznadzor revoked its recent order that suspended the status of numerous Estonian food industry companies on the list of enterprises with permission to export to Russia or struck them off the list altogether, thereby restoring the status quo of two weeks ago, the Estonian Veterinary and Food Board said.
The Russian agency on Wednesday restored the export permits of companies that had exported to Russia in the past 19 to 36 months which it had suspended on Monday.
Rosselkhoznadzor's order applied to most food industry companies of the European Union.
