EU Commissioner Dombrovskis satisfied with Ukrainian government's achievements in economic reforms

After yesterday's meeting with Ukrainian Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius, Dombrovskis said he was especially satisfied with Ukraine's accomplishments in bringing order to the country's business environment and overcoming administrative obstacles.
"The aim of the reforms is to stabilize Ukraine's financial situation, using long-term solutions," the Commission's vice-president explained, indicating that this is especially important with regard to energy and banking sectors.
In accordance with the current progress in reforms, the European Union will provide support to Ukraine in the amount of EUR 2 billion this year.
During the meeting with Ukraine's minister, Dombrovskis also received an invitation to a conference on progress and reforms which is to take place in Ukraine next month.
