Latvian MFA and Ukrainian leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine

Rinkevics and the Ukrainian president and premier discussed the additional EUR 1.8 billion that the European Union is prepared to give Ukraine, and the complicated situation in Eastern Ukraine, Rinkevics said.
"Both politicians said they had a high opinion of the EU's decision to allot additional EUR 1.8 billion to support Ukraine, as the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker announced in Riga earlier. The amount could be further increased," said Rinkevics.
"We also talked about the demarcation of borders, and the situation in Luhansk and Donetsk," added Rinkevics.
