Estonia opens honorary consulate in Croatia

Print versionEstonian foreign ministry permanent under secretary Alar Streimann opened Estonia's honorary cumulate in Croatia; Estonia's honorary consul in Croatia is Boris Jukić, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

Croatian deputy foreign minister Joško Klisović attended the opening of the honorary consulate, foreign ministry said.
Streimann stressed the importance of Croatia joining the European Union and expressed hope that it would motivate other states of the region in their aspirations to integrate with the EU. He said that the activities of honorary consul strengthen the good bilateral relations between the two states.
Estonian honorary consul Boris Jukić's consular area is Zagreb and Northern Croatia. Jukić (born 1962) has his own law office and is an active member of the Croatian Bar Association and Croatian Mediators Society.
