The agreement was signed by Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite. The EU members had signed the agreement on December 9, 2011 in Brussels, writes LETA/ELTA.

According to Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Azubalis, the agreement stipulates that if all the EU states ratify the agreement, Croatia will become an EU member on July 1, 2013.
