Lithuanian wrestler Kazakevicius wins Olympic bronze

On Sunday evening Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite congratulated wrestler Aleksandras Kazakevicius on his bronze medal win in Greco – Roman wrestling in the London Olympics, reports LETA/ELTA.

 

"I warmly congratulate you for the win of the Olympic bronze medal! Your achievement is a great gift for Lithuania and its people. I wish you much luck, strength and notable victories in the future," said the president.

 

Speaker of Seimas has also congratulated the bronze winner.

 

"I sincerely thank you for the happy moments you gave entire Lithuania in an intense fight with the tough rivals in pursuance of outstanding results. I wish you the best of starts and professional as well as personal success in the future," said Degutiene.

 

Lithuanian representative at the London Olympics, European Championship winner, 26-year-old Aleksandras Kazakevicius competed in Greco-Roman wrestling weight category of 74 kg and won the bronze medal on Sunday.
